WinSyslog 3.0 beta upcoming

Adiscon GmbH today announced that version 3.0 of the NTSLog product will be available very soon. "We are in the final development stages", so president Rainer Gerhards. "A beta of the new product will be available shortly to interested customers" .

WinSyslog 3.0 is greatly enhanced. This is also documented by a name change: formerly called "NTSLog", the new name of "WinSyslog" will be much easier to remeber.

New features are logging to ODBC databases and ASCII flat files. Logging to the Windows event log has also been enhanced. As always. the product is a full win32 service and runs flawlessly as a background process. In 3.0, there is also a GUI client program. It can be used both to view syslog messages online as well as for configuration purposes.
