How to configure File-Logging?

To configure File-Logging in WinSyslog, you first have to check the default settings.
Make sure that the Filepath is valid. See the following sample Screenshot:

The complete filename and filepath are generated with the use of this settings and date.
The filename is builded in the following way:

<FileBasName>-YYYY-MM-DD.<Extension>

For example the filename generated on 2001-07-01 would be like this:

WinSyslog-2001-07-01.log

But that is not all, you also have to create a Rule with at least one File-Logging action.
You can also and only configure the "File Base Name" for each File-Logging action.
All File-Logging rules will use the same path amd extension. See the following sample Screenshot:
