How to setup Realtime Logging while the WinSyslog Service is running?

Because only one program can run on Port 514 (Most the WinSyslog Service), you have to change the listener Port of the Realtime-Logging. I recommend to choose a Port like 10514 or 20514, see the screenshot below:

But that is not all, you have also to setup a new Rule that forwards messages to another Syslogserver. This Rule should not contain any criterias, to ensure that all messages are forwarded. Configure 127.0.0.1:10514 (for example) as Syslogforwarder as shown in the screenshot below:

Now you can use the Realtime Logging side by side with the WinSyslog Service. This is very helpfull if you want to watch incoming messages using the Realtime display. The rule processing will continue if the Client is not started, because the message is forwarded using UDP.
